The grand event took place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, where President Droupadi Murmu honoured the winners with the prestigious award. During the moment when Alia Bhatt was receiving her National Award, her mother, the talented actress Soni Razdan, was filled with joy. For this grand event, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress opted to wear the same golden and cream saree she wore on her wedding day last year with Ranbir Kapoor. Alia looked absolutely stunning in a saree, which she paired with a choker and matching earrings. She proudly showcased her engagement ring.

For the special day, Alia was joined by her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, who looked proud as she received the award and was spotted taking her video.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi also featured Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Seema Pahwa, Jim Sarbh and Ajay Devgn.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s future projects look promising, as she’s set to appear in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, sharing the screen with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. She also has Vasan Bala directorial Jigra slated to release in 2024. The actress is also rumoured to star opposite Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film, Baiju Bawra. Additionally, she’ll soon start working on Ayan Mukerji’s most awaited film Brahmastra 2 and 3, where she’ll be acting alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
