Salman Khan, one of the celebrated actors in the Hindi film industry, celebrates his 58th birthday today. He has had a successful acting career in the film industry spanning several decades. Bhaijaan, as he is popularly known, has a total of five films lined up in 2024, as per a Bollywood Life report. One of these movies is reported to be titled The Bull, produced by Dharma Productions. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, this film has caused a massive fervour. Trisha Krishnan will essay the female lead in this movie. Karan Johar recently hinted towards joining hands with Salman Khan for a project with a cryptic Instagram post. He uploaded one of Salman’s pictures from the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on Instagram on the occasion of his birthday. It was followed by a caption in which Karan Johar wrote how 25 years ago, Salman Khan said yes to his debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
According to Karan Johar, the superstar’s sister is close to him. As per Karan, this is probably how he got the chance to narrate his script to the actor. Karan told the superstar that his role was in the second half of the movie. He wrote: “‘I love your father and my sister will kill me if I don’t do this movie’ and that’s how Salman Khan was in KKHH …I am deeply grateful to Alvira and my father’s goodwill for making sure I had the perfect Aman and SALMAN KHAN in my debut film! Gestures and stories like this just don’t happen today! Happy birthday Salman! So much love and respect for you always …Also 25 years later we will finally have a story to tell again… not saying any more than that. happy happy birthday.”
2023 has been a mixed bag for Salman Khan, as none of his films failed to strike a chord with the audience. His much-hyped film Tiger 3 also couldn’t match up to the fans’ expectations. It has raised a big question on the star’s relevance. His critics have opined that Salman is not experimenting with films based on different concepts.
