Actress Parineeti Chopra has been witnessing a tremendous year, whether professionally or personally. Notably, the most recent highlight was her wedding with AAP leader Raghav Chadha in September. Now, as the actress celebrates her 35th birthday on Sunday, October 22, her cousin Priyanka Chopra has a special wish for her.
Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram story early morning on Sunday to share a selfie with Parineeti. In the photo, Priyanka and Parineeti were seen posing in chic sundresses. While Parineeti looked stunning in a white one-piece dress with a yellow bandana, Priyanka stunned in a yellow two-piece set.
Taking to her story, Priyanka wrote, “Happiest birthday Tisha. Hope you’re surrounded by so much love and joy today and always.” Priyanka is Parineeti’s older sister. Both actresses are cousins. Although Priyanka flew in from the US for Parineeti’s engagement to Raghav earlier in May this year, the actress could not make it to the grand Udaipur wedding.
According to Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, the actress was absent from the celebrations because of work commitments. However, she did take to her Instagram story to share a happy photo of Parineeti and wished that her younger sister always remained as happy.
The couple tied the knot at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on September 24. Their wedding was an intimate yet grand affair in the presence of family members and close friends. For her special day, Parineeti opted for a golden lehenga. Raghav complemented his bride in a traditional sherwani.
Earlier last week, Parineeti flew to Maldives for a tropical vacation. While many speculated that she was on her honeymoon, the actress clarified that she was taking a girls’ trip.
