Ranveer Singh has been grabbing headlines ever since he appeared on the first episode of Koffee With Karan along with his wife, actress Deepika Padukone. During their interaction with host Karan Johar, Ranveer also revealed that he met Deepika for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house in Versova.

Ranveer described how Deepika looked “angelic” when she entered Bhansali’s house during the script reading of Ram-Leela. “I was sitting at the table and the door was there. He has these heavy doors and he lives by the seaside. So these heavy doors open and the gush of wind comes from the sea. And, she is in a white chikankari like this embodiment of simplicity,” Ranveer said.
