As Diwali season has commenced, people have started dressing up to the nines and attending Diwali parties to celebrate the festival with their loved ones. Bollywood celebrities are no exception. Actress Sara Ali Khan recently hosted a Diwali bash to celebrate the festival of lights and it was a star-studded affair. The party was attended by the likes of Manish Malhotra, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan to name a few.
Manish Malhotra and producer Nidhi Dutta took to their Instagram handles to share inside photos from the party. In one photo, Manish could be seen posing with Ananya and Sara. Ananya looked stunning in a baby pink bralette-style top with matching flowy pants and a baby pink shrug to complete her look. Meanwhile, Sara looked gorgeous in a similar outfit in gold and white colours.
In another photo, Sara could be seen planting a kiss on Manish’s cheeks and her mother Amrita Singh also joined them with a beaming smile. Amrita matched Sara in her gold and white kurta. She paired it with a white salwar with multi-coloured patterns at the bottom.
As per the photos, the celebrities spent their night playing cards and eating delicious food. The house was decked up in orange and yellow marigold flowers. Sara also opted for yellow fairy lights to amp up the decor.
The party took place the night after Sara and Ananya’s episode of Koffee with Karan 8 aired on Disney+Hostar. On the show, Karan Johar and Sara confirmed Ananya and Aditya Roy Kapur’s relationship many times. However, for Sara’s annual Diwali bash, Ananya arrived with Orhan Awatramani or Orry, while Aditya arrived alone.
Sara also spoke about her breakup with Kartik Aaryan. In one of her shayaris, she called him “cool” because he “doesn’t care”. Kartik was also seen arriving for the Diwali party.
