Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani To Reunite On Screen After Shershaah's National Award Win? Know Here

Actor Sidharth Malhotra is currently celebrating the National Award that his film Shershaah received earlier this week. At the ceremony held in the national capital on Tuesday, October 17, the film was awarded the Special Jury Award. While Sidharth did not attend, he took to social media to express his gratitude to the audience. Now, he has revealed that his character from the film is his favourite role ever and has also given a hint about working with Kiara again.

Sidharth took to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, to hold an #AskSid session, where his fans asked him questions about his professional and personal life. One fan asked, “Favorite character you’ve ever played? @SidMalhotra #asksid.” To this, Sidharth replied, “Capt. Vikram Batra .”

Shershaah is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a soldier who was martyred during the Kargil War after contributing significantly to India’s victory in the war. The film not only delved into Vikram’s career as a soldier but also showcased his real-life romance with Dimple Cheema.

Dimple’s character was essayed by Kiara Advani. Interestingly, the film marked Kiara and Sidharth’s first cinematic collaboration and the duo fell in love on the sets of the film. They later got married on February 7, 2023. Fans have been eager in anticipation for the real-life couple to now work on another film together.

One eager fan asked, “@SidMalhotra When are we going to see our #SidKiara onscreen next? #AskSid.” Sidharth replied, “Will let you know .” Sidharth’s reply has left fans in a frenzy, who cannot wait for their favourite couple to reunite on screen.

Meanwhile, one fan also asked the actor if he preferred doing romantic films or action films. The said replied, “Romantic action films.” Sidharth will soon be seen in the film Yodha and he also has Indian Police Force coming out soon.
