What Ranbir Kapoor Has To Say On A Tamasha Reunion With Deepika Padukone, Imtiaz Ali
In response to a fan's inquiry about the potential reunion of the Tamasha team, Ranbir Kapoor said, "It is a good idea."

Ranbir Kapoor is actively preparing for his highly-anticipated role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film, Animal, alongside Rashmika Mandanna. As part of the film’s promotional activities, Ranbir recently connected with his dedicated fans through a Zoom call. During this interaction, he was asked about the possibility of reuniting with the Tamasha cast including Imtiaz Ali and Deepika Padukone. Ranbir shared, “I think it is a good idea. I should really bring it up. Unfortunately, what happened was that Imtiaz and I were so close because we were working so much with each other. Then what happens is that we go on different projects, and then those people become your circle of friends, and you start working a lot with them. So, I’ve really been out of touch with Imtiaz.”

The actor further acknowledged that while the film may not have been a commercial success upon release, it has since found its audience and deeply touched people’s lives. He stated, “Tamasha, when it’s released, it didn’t really do well commercially, but I think over the years it has really found its audience and a lot of people who have seen it and understand it now.” Ranbir Kapoor expressed his desire to reunite with team Tamasha, hoping that the entire crew, including director Imtiaz Ali, would join him for a future interview.

Tamasha is a romantic drama film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The film revolves around a boy and a girl who met in Corsica, and choose to keep their real identities and personalities a secret. The film was released in 2015 and has garnered a strong fan following over the years.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor’s next film Animal is generating immense excitement among fans and critics alike. The film features a star-studded cast, including Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Tripti Dimri, and Sharat Saxena in pivotal roles. The main plot of the film caters to a troubled father-son relationship that is set against the backdrop of the brutal underworld which ultimately leads the protagonist to the brink of becoming a psychopath. The film will be released on December 1, 2023, and is said to be Ranbir’s most highly anticipated film to date. It was initially scheduled for release in August. However, the director opted to postpone the release to December due to the incomplete post-production work on the film.
