The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the exam date as well as the last date for online registration to the All-India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2024. As per the latest updates, the AISSEE 2024 will now be conducted on January 28 next year. Earlier, the exam date was scheduled for January 21, 2024. The online registration for the entrance exam will end on December 20, at 5 pm. According to the earlier schedule, the last date was today, December 16.
With the extension in deadline, candidates will now be able to make the mandatory payment by December 20. In addition, the correction window or facility will be available from December 22 to December 24. According to an official notice, the exam date and registration date have been extended to avoid any clash between some major exams.
“Due to clash between some major national examination and All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2024 being held on January 21, 2024, and difficulties experienced due to the same, it has been decided to reschedule AISSEE 2024 on 28.01.2024 (Sunday) across the country. It has also been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for AISSEE 2024, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam,” the agency said in an official notice.
The pen-paper (OMR sheet-based) exam will be held in 186 cities across the country. NTA is holding the AISSEE 2024 exam for students seeking admission to Class 6 that will be held for 150 minutes (which is from 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM), whereas for Class 9, the entrance exam will be administered for 180 minutes (that is from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM).
AISSEE 2024: Steps To Register
Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA at exams.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, search and click on the ‘AISSEE 2024’ registration link.
Step 3: As a new page opens, register yourself and proceed with the application form.
Step 4: Then fill out the details, upload all the required documents, and pay the necessary fee.
Step 5: Cross-check the details, and submit the form as directed.
AISSEE 2024: Application Fee
Candidates from the SC/ST category need to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while applicants from the General/Wards of Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen/OBC (NCL) category must pay an application fee of Rs 650.
