The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, will conclude the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 today, September 13 at 5 PM. Candidates may apply for the management entrance exam at the official website of CAT 2023 at iimcat.ac.in. It is to be noted that the CAT 2023 exam for admission into postgraduate and fellow doctoral programmes offered by IIMs and other participating universities is scheduled to take place on November 26.
Candidates must note that candidates will be considered eligible to appear in the exam only after successful registration with the required documents as per the specified format. Furthermore, for admission into various management programmes, there are a total of 1164 MBA colleges accepting CAT 2023 scores. Among these, 138 are public or government colleges while the remaining 1,026 are private.
General, Economically Weaker Section, and Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy) category candidates are required to an application fee of Rs 2,400 at the time of registration in online mode. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Person with Disabilities categories will have to pay Rs 1,200.

CAT 2023: Cut-Offs
According to previous years’ CAT cut-off patterns, candidates who score between 95 to 100 will have an upper hand in getting admission to IIMs. It is important to note that the factors affecting the CAT cut-off 2023 score are the total number of applicants who appeared in the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, the ranking of colleges and the previous year’s CAT cut-off patterns.
The CAT Cutoff 2023 (percentile) for IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore is expected to be between 99 and 100, whereas for IIM Calcutta, it could be 99. Coming to IIM Lucknow and IIM Indore, the percentile is set to be above 97, while IIM Kozhikode may require candidates to score 97 to 98. For IIM Trichy, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Kashipur, the cut-off is expected to be around 94, and for IIM Vizag, IIM Udaipur, and IIM Bodhgaya, it is likely to be 92 percentile. Furthermore, the cut-offs for IIM Amritsar, IIM Sambalpur, and IIM Nagpur are expected to remain above 95. Candidates may be required to meet the cut-off of 90 to be eligible for admission to IIM Shillong. Now, talking about IIM Sirmaur and IIM Rohtak, the cut-off is likely to be 95.
