India-China Galwan Valley Clash | Indian sportspersons Sunil Chhetri, Saina Nehwal and Bajrang Punia mourned the loss of army personnel at the India-China border in Ladakh's Galwan Valley on Monday night.
20 Indian Army personnel, including a colonel, were killed in a clash with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. It is the biggest military confrontation between India and China in over five decades that has significantly escalated the already volatile border standoff in the region.Chhetri took to Twitter to suggest talking across the table instead of exchanging bullets at the border. He wanted the authorities to "act swiftly" because he didn't want more soldiers to die.
