Madhya Pradesh students bag top spots in IIT-JEE (Advanced) results, Satvat Jagwani declared the all India topper
Satvat Jagwani of Satna in Madhya Pradesh has emerged as the all-India topper in the IIT-JEE Advanced results with a score of 469 out of 504.

New Delhi: Boys from Madhya Pradesh have bagged the top three positions in IIT-JEE Advanced results paving way for their admission to the coveted technology and engineering institutes.

Satvat Jagwani of Satna in Madhya Pradesh has emerged as the all-India topper in the IIT-JEE Advanced results with a score of 469 out of 504. Jagwani appeared for the exam from IIT-Kanpur zone.

In the advanced results that were announced on Wednesday, Janak Agarwal and Mukesh Pareekh, both residents of Indore, have bagged the second and third spot respectively.

Krati Tiwari also from Indore in Madhya Pradesh, has emerged as the all India topper in girls’ category. She has got an all India rank of 47.

The full results will be declared at 10 am on Thursday. Candidates can check their result at http://jeeadv.iitb.ac.in/

According to the statistics released by IIT-Bombay, a total of 1,24,741 candidates applied for JEE mains of which 1,17,238 appeared for the test and 26,456 students cleared the mains. 23,407 male candidates qualified for the exam, outnumbering 3,049 female candidates.

The entrance exam is conducted for admission to premier technology and engineering institutes of the country which include the IITs and NIT.
