Petrol, and Diesel Prices on November 10: On Dhanteras, government oil companies have shocked the customers of many cities. Retail prices of petrol and diesel have been released on Friday morning amid the fall in crude prices in the global market. Today, changes in oil prices are visible in many cities. While petrol prices have increased in Noida, the prices have come down in Ghaziabad. Similarly, in Patna, the capital of Bihar, people will have to pay higher prices for oil on Dhanteras.

According to government oil companies, in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida) the price of petrol increased by 13 paise to Rs 96.92 a liter this morning, while diesel became costlier by 12 paise and is being sold at Rs 90.08 a litre. In the neighboring Ghaziabad district, petrol has fallen by 9 paise and is being sold at Rs 96.58 per litre, while diesel has fallen by 9 paise and is being sold at Rs 89.75 per litre. On the other hand, in Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol has become costlier by 23 paise and is being sold at Rs 107.47 per litre, while diesel has increased by 21 paise to Rs 94.25 per litre.

Talking about crude oil, its prices are falling again in the last 24 hours in the global market. The price of Brent crude has fallen to $ 80.01 per barrel. The rate of WTI is also running at $75.50 per barrel.

At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 96.72 a litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 a litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre in Chennai.

In India, oil marketing companies (OMCs) such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum determine petrol and diesel prices. This is done on a daily basis, and rates are determined in accordance with the price of crude oil throughout the world.
