The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched its flagship campaign for youth and first time voters — Pehla Vote Modi Ko. The campaign was launched digitally by revealing the website pehlavotemodiko.bjp.org and the first campaign video was released there.

The BJP is confident that with this vibrant and upbeat campaign, it will reach each first time voter in every corner of the country. The party hopes to engage with them and seek their support to bring the Narendra Modi government back in power for the third time in a row.

The BJP aims to highlight the work done by the Modi government in the last 10 years impacting the lives of our country’s youth. The focus will be on how to reach out to the youth with the message of Modi government revitalizing the education sector through the National Education Policy, through increased connectivity to metros or digital growth through 5G and UPI. The youth outreach will also spread the message that the Modi government’s visionary initiatives have made the lives of the youth better and have instilled a sense of pride in them.

A series of short, engaging and trendy videos has been prepared by the party, seeking to capture the sentiment among the youth. The content will be released on the party’s social media handles in the coming days. The fact that India boasts 1 lakh-plus startups and 100-plus unicorns due to policies like Startup India shows a path of development to the youth. From UPI to 5G technology, India’s digital landscape has rapidly transformed.

PM Modi’s focus on revamping the education system has gone down well among the youth. National Education Policy 2020 has revamped India’s educational landscape. Around 390 new universities, seven IIMs, seven IITs, and 15 AIIMS have been established in the last 10 years. India’s sporting arena has been transformed by initiatives like Khelo India and the Olympic Podium scheme.

Initiatives like six-month paid maternity leave, 33% reservation in Parliament, and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao are some examples of Modi government’s commitment to gender equality and women empowerment.

Expressways, Vande Bharat trains, the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Trans Harbour Link are reshaping the country’s infrastructure. The nation has seen a 2,300% growth in its solar power capacity. The successful hosting of the G20 summit is an example of India’s elevated status in global affairs. Chandrayaan-3, Mangalyaan and the Aditya L1 mission have marked space-tech achievements of the nation.

Youth and first-time voters have always been the focus of PM Modi’s campaign and they are his committed voters as well. He interacts with youth, school children during exams, and visits universities. Most recently, his presence at the young innovators awards has proved his acceptability among young Indians.
