After brief detention for trying to enter Dadri, Sadhvi Prachi released in Ghaziabad
Prachi also targeted Uttar Pradesh Minister Azam Khan over his letter to the United Nations seeking its intervention to look into the "miseries" of minorities in India.

Dadri: Firebrand VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi was on Wednesday briefly detained while she was trying to enter Dadri. Denying her entry into the Bishada village where a 50-year-old man was lynched by an enraged mob for allegedly storing beef at his house, the authorities released her near Ghaziabad.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed by the administration to avoid any untoward incident in the district.

Prachi alleged "conspiracy" behind the administration's move and asked why AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's entry was not curbed in a similar manner. "I wanted to meet families of Jay Prakash and Rahul Yadav but I was denied entry. I had requested the SDM in this respect. Owaisi, who comes from Hyderabad can meet, why I am not allowed entry? This is a conspiracy," Prachi said.

A resident of Bishada, Jay Prakash (24) was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday while Yadav suffered an alleged bullet injury during protests against the administration in the aftermath of lynching of Iqlakh.

Prachi also targeted Uttar Pradesh Minister Azam Khan over his letter to the United Nations seeking its intervention to look into the "miseries" of minorities in India. "His letter to the United Nations has tarnished India's image," she said.

Prachi also demanded compensation of Rs 50 lakh each for the families of Yadav and Jay Prakash. "Prakash was tortured to the extent that he committed suicide," she alleged. She termed Azam Khan a "traitor" and sought his trial in a court of law and alleged that police has denied her entry at Khan's behest.

"He is a traitor. He should be tried in a court. Those who are going to the UN to tarnish India's image should be tried," she said. Prachi asserted that she will "once again" try to meet the families of Jay Prakash and Yadav.

Earlier, police also denied entry to members of 'Hindu Yuva Vahini', a youth group founded by BJP MP Yogi Adityanath.
