New Delhi: She has kept a surprisingly low-profile throughout her UP elections campaign.
But one can always trust BSP supremo Mayawati with churning out quotable quotes while she is taking on her opposition.
The firebrand leader on Thursday addressed an election meeting in Agra and said should she come to power, "every act" of Samajwadi Party leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh will be investigated.
"If voted to power, I will investigate every act of Mulayam Singh and Amar Singh and establish the rule of law and order in the state," she was quoted as saying with news agency PTI.
Mayawati also said she would put the SP leaders "behind bars” as "law of jungle" was prevailing in the state.
Accusing the Mulayam government of "engaging in looting", Mayawati held out promises for the minorities, assuring them of "special treatment.”
She also did not forget her Dalit votebank and assured them of fully implementing the reservation policy.
