Jagan DA case: CBI names Andhra minister as fourth accused
Sabitha Indra Reddy has been accused of granting mining licenses to private players under YSR Reddy's regime.

Hyderabad: In a further embarrassing twist for the Congress, the CBI has named Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy as the fourth accused in its chargesheet in the Jagan Reddy illegal assets case.

Reddy is the third minister to be named by the investigative agency. She has been accused of granting mining licenses to private players under YSR Reddy's regime in return for heavy investments in companies owned by YSR's son Jagan Reddy. Former excise Minister Mopidevi Venkatramana and Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao are the other ministers named.

The Opposition has stepped up the demand for the resignations of these ministers. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is expected to meet the party high command in Delhi on Wednesday to discuss this issue.
