The BJP Mahila Morcha will conduct door-to-door campaigns where party women workers will hold discussions with homemakers in their kitchens.
Bangalore: A week after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi raised women's issues in Tumkur, the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to woo women voters in Karnataka ahead of the elections.
The BJP Mahila Morcha will now conduct door-to-door campaigns where party women workers will hold discussions with homemakers in their kitchens. As part of this new strategy, the party will raise issues like women's security, price rise, LPG, etc apart from canvassing for Narendra Modi.
Rahul Gandhi had strongly criticised BJP's attitude towards women during his two-day visit to Karnataka last week. He had emphasiased on the women empowerment.
