Lalu Prasad marches to Bihar Governor's residence demanding Centre to release caste census

Patna: In an attempt to build pressure on the Narendra Modi government, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief lalu prasad along with his partymen marched to Bihar Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi's residence demanding Centre to release caste census.

This was one of the reasons stated by the RJD chief to skip Congress President Sonia Gandhi's Iftar party on Monday.

The RJD chief has also organised his Iftar party today.

According to Socio-Economic Caste Census released by the Modi government on July 3, India has as many as 24.39 crore households, of which 17.91 belong to the rural areas.

According to the data revealed in the census, India has as many as 68.96 lakh households headed by females, with no adult male member between age 18 and 59, while there are 7.16 lakh houses had differently able members with no other able bodied adult member.
