The state of Nagaland, and its lone Lok Sabha constituency, is witnessing a triangular battle between state's Chief Minister and Naga People's Front nominee Neiphu Rio, Congress's KV Pusa and Akhei Achumi of Socialist Party.
The seat which went on polls on April 9, 2014 registered 88 per cent polling but disheartened the Election Commission as no voter turned out to cast vote during repolling ordered at five booths on May 15, 2014.

At 06:40 pm: NPF maintains uninterrupted lead since morning.
At 05:25 pm: NPF bags 68.90 per cent votes till now, likely to win.
At 04:25: State Chief Minister and NPF nominee Neiphu Rio is still leading with 68.90 per cent.
12:45 pm, NPF's Neiphu Rio is leading with 70.60 per cent vote.
At 11:30 am, NPF's Neiphu Rio is leading with 68.10 per cent vote.
At 9:00 am, NPF's Neiphu Rio is leading.
