New Delhi: As the controversy over alleged bugging continued, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday insisted that no snooping devices were found anywhere at his residence.
"As already stated, I reiterate that no devices were found at my residence anywhere," he tweeted.
The Minister for Surface Transport and Highways was reacting to reports which claimed that high power listening devices were found in the bedroom at his 13, Teen Murti Lane residence in the national capital.
Gadkari sought to dispel the reports on Sunday also by terming these as "highly speculative" but the controversy continued to rage with Opposition demanding a clarification from the government.
Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that the matter should be probed.
