162. Rajgarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Rajgarh Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Rajgarh falls in Rajgarh district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,03,680 voters in the seat, which includes 1,05,658 male voters, and 98,009 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Rajgarh recorded a voter turnout of 84.93%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.61%, and in 2008 it was 76.4%.
In 2013, Amarsingh Yadav of BJP won the seat by a margin of 51,211 votes (33.2%). Amarsingh Yadav secured 63.36% of the total votes polled.
