Ahmedabad: In huge relief for Gujarat minister Babubhai Bokhiria, the Supreme Court has discharged murder charges against him. He was accused in the murder case of Congress leader Mulu Modhwadia.
In 2005, Modhwadia was shot dead at point-blank range outside his house in Porbandar. A trial court order in 2008 had named Bokhiria as a co-accused in the murder case.
He was named after Modhwadia's son had alleged that his father was threatened by the Gujarat minister.
