New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on the government for lapses in Pathankot terror attack probe, Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia said till today nobody knows whether there were five terrorists or six.
"The Home Minister tweeted and then deleted. Till today we don't know if there were five terrorists or six terrorists," Scindia said. "Former RAW chief AS Dulat has asked, 'how did they infiltrate? How were they allowed to roam for 24 hours?"
Terrorists attacked the IAF base on January 1 killing seven security personnel before being gunned down in an operation which lasted more than three days.
While NSG, which carried out the operation against the terrorists, has said there were six terrorists the NIA, which has been probing the case has maintained that they found the bodies of four terrorists and yet to come conclusive evidence about any more terrorist was involved in the attack.
Scindia also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for going to Lahore to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
