The Election Commission announced that the model code of conduct will be in force in the three states from Friday.
New Delhi: The Election Commission of India on Friday announced the dates for polling in the three north eastern states of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya. Polling will be held in Tripura on February 14, while in Meghalaya and Nagaland, the polling will be held on February 23.
The counting of the votes will be held on February 28.
The Election Commission announced that the model code of conduct will be in force in the three states from Friday.
