New Delhi: Asus is all set to launch the much-awaited ZenFone Zoom smartphone in India today at an event in Agra.
The highlight of the phone is its optical zoom capability in the rear camera that is expected to add a new dimension to camera performance. The ZenFone Zoom sports a 13-megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom. Also, its rear camera features a 10-element lens design with up to a 12x digital zoom for finer close-up detail. It also has an optical image stabilizer (OIS) for shake-free photos.
If the company's claim is to be believed, the ZenFone Zoom is the world's thinnest 3x optical-zoom smartphone.
Talking about its specs, the ZenFone Zoom has a 5.5-inch full HD display, 64-bit quad-core processor, 4G B RAM and a 3000 mAh battery. According to Asus, the super fast charging technology can give the phone 60 per cent of battery capacity in just 39 minutes.
Asus has not yet revealed the pricing and availability details of the ZenFone Zoom for the Indian market.
The phone was first unveiled to the world last year at CES.
