A price hike has been announced for iPhones following the increased import duty on electronics recently brought into effect by the government of India.
After the recent hike in import duties on various electronic products announced by the government, prices of many electronic goods have gone up. Following the same, a price hike has now been announced on all models of iPhones, except the iPhone SE which is being manufactured in India since June 2017. The new prices of the iPhone models have been updated on the official Apple website and following today, the iPhone models will be available at the mentioned price. With the new price list, an average increase of 3.5 percent can be seen in the prices of the iPhones.
