OnePlus is all set to expand its earphone lineup with the launch of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 TWS globally on August 20. The successor to last year’s Buds Pro 2 is expected to come with an IP55-rated build, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and offer a long-lasting battery life of up to 43 hours on a single charge. As per the company, the upcoming audio device is its “finest audio offering yet” with “meticulously balanced notes.”
Sharing a post on X, OnePlus announced the launch date of Buds Pro 3 on Monday. They wrote, “Our finest audio offering yet – some meticulously balanced notes on the horizon! The #OnePlusBudsPro3, dropping August 20.”
The event will be held at 6.30 pm IST in India. In global markets, the launch will take place at 9:00 am (EST), 2:00 pm (BST) and 3:00 pm (CEST). The company has also published a dedicated landing page on its official website for the Buds Pro 3, revealing its launch date and design.
The device will be coming with an Oval-shaped case, which is a significant departure from prior OnePlus earbuds' boxy structure. As per previous leaks, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is expected to have a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) and support an LHDC 5.0 audio codec with 24-bit/192kHz audio. The device is said to offer up to 50 dB adaptive noise cancellation, more than its predecessor’s 49 dB. Also, they are anticipated to pack Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and include a dual driver setup comprising an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter.
Additionally, the report suggested that the device will come with IP55 Dust and water resistance and are expected to deliver up to 43 hours of battery life along with the case which is a four-hour increase compared to the previous OnePlus Buds Pro 2 model.
OnePlus Buds 3 Pro Expected Price
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is expected to be launched with a price tag between Rs 13,000 to Rs 14,000 in India. The Buds Pro 2 is currently priced at Rs 11,999. It is also available at a discounted price of Rs 8,239 through select platforms.
