PUBG News: Four Pro Player Slammed With Three-Year Bans From National PUBG League For Cheating

The popular online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has slammed four professional players with three-year bans from the game’s North American esports league, the National PUBG League NPL after they were caught cheating. The teams of those four players — namely Reapers, Totality, Death Row, and Almost — have also been disqualified from the NPL. This suspension follows an investigation that PUBG Esports conducted after all four players had received permanent in-game bans on December 19 for using unauthorized software.

“In the future, players found to have been banned in-game due to the use of unauthorized programs during professional esports competitions will be banned from competitive play for a minimum of three years to a maximum of a lifetime starting on the date of completion of an official league investigation,” said the PUBG esports team in a statement posted on Twitter.

To recall, PUBG with the release of Vikendi snow map has imposed an Anti-Cheat and Reporting feature. Players on PUBG have been experiencing confrontations with cheaters even before the game was officially launched in its Early Access period. The latest incident of the software's usage has resulted in banning 30,000 players on PUBG, including some of the well-known players of the game on the global platform. For those who in the unknown, the Radar Hack cheat helps the players get an unprecedented advantage over other players. The new wave of ban follows the release of the new Vikendi map using its anti-cheat algorithm called BattlEye.
