New Delhi: US mobile carrier, T-Mobile has officially unveiled the first look of Samsung's much-anticipated smartphone, the Galaxy S6, which hints to a curved display.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is yet-to-be-rolled out to the consumers, however, a Twitter post by T-Mobile's CEO John Legere confirmed that the device will be available first on the carrier and the image shows that the device definitely has a display that is curved on the right side, creating a spill-effect.
The teaser image with a description, ' The Next Big Thing is Almost Here' doesn't give further specifications. But does ask people to come back on March 1 -when the Mobile World Congress 2015 is scheduled to take place in Barcelona- to learn more about the product.
A report in The Verge states that from the front, the Galaxy S6 looks a like the Note Edge and its dark gray metal backside is a huge change from Samsung's conventional designs.
There have been speculations that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature a three-side curved display that will give a spill-effect and allow access to apps from both the right and left sides of the device.
Last week, Samsung had also released a teaser video about its upcoming smartphone with the curved display screen and a metallic body.
