When it comes to its smartphone lineup, OnePlus has been known to space out its launches for the Chinese market and the rest of the world, including India. Now, after the earlier launch of the OnePlus 12 series this year, the brand is allegedly gearing up for another launch soon, but in China.
Details about the upcoming OnePlus Ace Pro, the next addition to the OnePlus Ace lineup in China, have surfaced through leaks from the Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu, initially reported by GizmoChina.
According to the leaks, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is anticipated to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which also powers its flagship — the OnePlus 12, accompanied by a whopping 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and storage options of up to 1TB UFS 4.0.
In terms of the display, the phone is expected to continue OnePlus’ tradition of curved smartphone displays, featuring a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and supporting a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
Turning attention to the build, previous hints suggest a combination of metal and glass, aligning with OnePlus’ approach seen in the OnePlus 12 series. The exact launch date for users in China remains unclear. However, according to GizmoChina’s report, the device may be unveiled in the first half of 2024.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is anticipated to serve as a direct successor to the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which entered the market in August last year with a price tag of CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,000).
