Twitter officially rolls out Curator, its new real-time search tool for media publishers
Curator lets media publishers filter and search for relevant tweets and vines on Twitter and make customised collection to be displayed later on the web, TV or mobile.

New Delhi: Twitter has officially rolled out Curator, its new tool for media publishers that allows them to filter and search for relevant and high quality tweets and vines on its platform in real-time.

The tool was under testing for a while and given the strong increase in audience engagement and participation during the trial, Twitter has now opened up the tool to all media publishers around the world for free.

Curator enables media publishers to create complex keyword and hastag queries to easily uncover streams of high quality tweets. The results can further be filtered based on follower counts, location, languages, and more to create customised collections of relevant tweets.

In its blog, Twitter said that users can curate their favourite tweets into a collection that can later be displayed on the web, mobile or TV.

Publishers can further work with Twitter certified partners like Flowics, Livefyre, ScribbleLive, Spredfast and Wayin to get advanced integrations, customisations, and hands-on support.

Twitter said that its goal with Curator is to make it easy and seamless for publishers to incorporate powerful conversations, interactivity and engagement into their programming.
