And the recent tweak means that you need an Android phone that can run version 5.0 or higher. Similarly, you need an iPhone model that is able to run iOS 12 version or later. So, by any chance, if you still have a phone that can only support the software version below these, it is time to upgrade your smartphone right away, or you lose access to the popular messaging app.
