Xiaomi on Monday has announced its presence on WhatsApp to provide its users an easy platform to stay in touch with the company’s updates, services and more. For this, Xiaomi has launched the WhatsApp-based Xiaomi MI Bunny subscription service. The service is aimed to provide the latest Xiaomi news, product launches, deals, sales reminders, MIUI weekly update notifications and even Mi Fan meetup reminders via WhatsApp. For this, Xiaomi has made use of the recently launched WhatsApp Business platform in India.
Perhaps the most important feature to be provided by Xiaomi through this WhatsApp service is entertaining the support requests raised by its customers. In order to get in touch with the Xiaomi’s Mi Bunny, customers will need to send "Xiaomi" to +91-7760944500 along with their name and city on WhatsApp. Xiaomi will reach out to them with a welcome message in return and will keep them posted about any future Mi updates. In case a Xiaomi customer needs to raise a customer support request, the customer needs to send “Support" on the same number and from there on follow the on-screen instructions.

Xiaomi has plans to further add to these services. The company also clarifies that no information shared on the Xiaomi Mi Bunny service will be shared with any third-party. As of now, the Xiaomi Mi Bunny service is being beta tested and is limited to the mentioned features.
