Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, the show narrates the tale of Samrat Ashok and Princess Kaurwaki, two legends with starkly contrasting ideologies. While Kaurwaki dreams of a partner with a heart of gold, valuing family above all, Ashok is a relentless conqueror who sees family as a weakness and is unafraid to shed blood for power.

Aside from Adnan Khan and Mallika Singh in the lead roles, the show boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Rakshanda Khan as Helena, Ankit Bhatia as Bhadrak, Leena Balodi as Salukkhavati, Manish Khanna as Padmanabhan, Chetan Hansraj as Bindusar, Surendra Pal as Chandragupta Maurya, Manoj Kolhatkar as Chanakya, Dinesh Mehta as Subhandhu, and Aarush Shrivastava as Sushim.
