The iconic television show Saubhagyavati Bhava is back with its second season, which promises to fulfil the viewers’ expectations with its captivating storyline and powerful performances. The new season had roped in popular faces from the TV industry. Dheeraj Dhoopar as Raghav Jindal and Amandeep Sidhu as Siya, are leading the show, Retaining some elements of the first installment, the makers brought back Karanvir Bohra to reprise his role as Viraj Dobriyal in the sequel. The second season premiered on September 26 and is reportedly being well-received by the audience. Dheeraj Dhoopar, in his latest interview, opened up about the positive feedback as well as how his wife Vinny Arora has supported him throughout.
In a conversation with Etimes, Dheeraj Dhoopar expressed that he is “super excited” about the show. The actor believes that he has appeared for his exams and was waiting for the results, which were finally out as the first episode went on air. He stated. “The feedback we are getting is great. People watched the first episode, and they loved it and everyone has good things to say. Now, let’s see what the future holds for us.”
Further, Dheeraj Dhoopar expressed that his family is very “excited” about his show and was always supportive when he was offered the role. He said his wife, Vinny Arora, who is also a successful TV actress, wanted him to take up this show. “My wife Vinny had told me this is the character that I love the most and you have to do the show. It is new for me also as I’ve never played a role like this in my career. First time, I am playing a grey-shaded character so I’m very excited. She is also very excited about the show,” said Dheeraj.
Dheeraj portraying the role of Raghav Jindal, is inevitably a grey shade character. One was asked if he was sceptical about taking on such a complex role. But the actor is not quite bothered about this aspect. He said, “I always believe in doing my work with honesty and want to do good work. I always try to give my best to my work. I don’t take any pressure though the role is very challenging.” He acknowledged that the first season that premiered in 2011 was very popular, and he is aiming to make the sequel a memorable series as well.
The second season, Saubhagyavati Bhava: Niyam aur Shartein Laagu, airs from Monday to Friday at 10 p.m. on Star Bharat.
