In an unusual occurrence, a stray bull made its way into the primary branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) situated in the Shahganj locality of Unnao on Wednesday, causing a commotion among both the staff and customers. A video lasting 30 seconds, seemingly depicting the animal freely navigating within the branch, quickly gained traction on social media, leaving netizens puzzled and sparking a wave of humour.

The footage shows the bull entering the bank and calmly positioning itself in a corner, almost as if patiently awaiting service. This unexpected guest, however, triggered a moment of panic within the bank. A video documenting this peculiar occurrence shows the large animal standing serenely amidst the bank’s interior, accompanied by an individual’s voice instructing customers to maintain a safe distance.

As the video progressed, the bank’s security personnel took swift action to restore order amidst the chaos. Using a stick, the guard successfully guided the bull out of the bank, bringing calm back to the premises.

Gaurav Singh, the bank’s chief manager, disclosed, “Two bulls were initially engaged in a confrontation outside the bank. When one pursued the other towards the bank entrance, the open door facilitated its entry, causing a brief disturbance. Fortunately, this incident occurred during a period of lower customer presence in the bank.”

Since the video’s circulation, it has garnered widespread attention, prompting reactions from the public. One user humourously questioned, “Is this a sign for SBI stock…Bull entering SBI vs SBI entering Bull?” Another added, “He went to exchange his demonetized notes.” A third user chimed in, “He had some 2000 Rs k notes in his last life.. wanted to get them exchanged, it seems.” The fourth contributed, “Pakka Netbanking password nahi diya hoga.”
