Indians’ passion for food knows no bounds, but at a recent wedding in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, this love for culinary perfection took a dramatic turn. What began as a delightful celebration soon became a spectacle when guests discovered that the biryani lacked the coveted chicken leg pieces.
What began as a simple complaint spiralled into a chaotic fight. Viral footage from the event shows guests kicking, punching, and even throwing chairs. Rumour has it the groom himself got involved in the fray. The scene turned into complete mayhem as both families clashed.
Someone recorded the chaos and posted the video on social media, where it quickly went viral.

Social media, as always, had its say, with one observer humorously noting, “I like the spectators on the staircase watching for entertainment.” Another quipped, “That’s quite a memorable ‘kick’start to married life …hope they didn’t ‘chicken’ out of the reception too!” A third chimed in with, “I remembered attending a wedding where there was a complaint raised by the boy family stating the close relatives of the boys families were not given extra pieces,” while a fourth added, “At least, a fight that makes sense.”

Thankfully, after much persuasion, the families decided to set aside their differences, allowing the wedding to continue. Despite the chaotic beginning, the families reconciled, and the ceremony went on as planned. The couple exchanged vows, adhering to tradition, and embarked on their new journey together.
As the festivities concluded, guests departed peacefully, harmony was restored, and there was no need for police intervention.
