Who doesn’t want to win the lottery? Every person in this world wants money to spend to fulfil their dream. Recently, a couple won a lottery that left everyone surprised. The more surprising thing about this is that the couple won the lottery twice in three weeks. This British couple from Darwen, Lancashire, attributed their success to a simple and legal trick that they claim anyone can try. As per reports, they won the second lottery by teaming up with their neighbours, with who they have split the prize money.
Neil and Hayley, both from Darwen, Lancashire bought a lottery ticket for the People’s Postcode Lottery three months ago and won 30,000 Pounds (approximately Rs 33 lakh 21 thousand). As per reports, the couple had recently moved into their new home when they decided to test their lock.
Neil, who is an electrician said, “We have recently moved to a new home around three months ago. I won 11,000 pounds in the first month and now we have won 30,000 pounds.” According to a report by Birmingham Live, around three weeks later, their luck once again shined and won another lottery. The couple believes there’s a simple trick behind their win, something that anyone can try.
“We started trying our luck in the lottery as soon as we moved in here. Playing the lottery not only helped us to manage our expenses when we were having some financial crisis,” Neil added. Following their first win, the couple reportedly decided to celebrate as they held a special celebration on the street of Spring Well Garden Village.
The couple then decided to join their neighbours in the lottery. Around 18 residents of the area took part and won a massive amount of 540,000 pounds (approximately Rs 5.97 crore). All the neighbours were overjoyed after winning the lottery. Emma, a neighbour of Neil said, “It is amazing to win a lottery with your neighbours. We were all talking to each other and it brought the street together. Many of us are planning to go on vacation with the amount.”
