A man recently got a QR code tattoo on his forehead that directly takes you to his Instagram account. Yes, you read that right! Currently, social media users are buzzing with mixed feelings about this man’s daring move.
The clip opens with a man lying down on a flat surface and getting a tattoo drawn on his forehead. The video captures the whole process of the tattoo formation. From ink getting prepared, the needle being positioned to drawing the whole QR code on the man’s forehead. In between the videos, the man is also seen to experience pain while the tattoo artist continues to draw. However, the man stays calm until the whole process is over.
Once the QR code tattoo is complete, the artist shows how the tattoo works. The video was shared on Instagram on February 26 and in just a few hours it has collected 1.7 million views.

The tattoo artist stunned people on the internet after the video showed the QR code actually worked. Yes, towards the end on the video, when the artist scans the man’s forehead to see if it directs to the correct Instagram account. Surprisingly, it did. After which both the man and the artist smile towards the camera.
Along with the 1.7 million views, the clip has collected over 9,000 likes and several comments. One user wrote, “That’s a good idea…a chip.inserted to be scanned a tattoo just like nazis did to ID people ..makes perfect sense.” Another commented, “Sure looks fake” While a third user called it “pathetic”.
Recently, a man made headlines by tattooing his girlfriend’s name inside his lower lip. This viral video was shared on Instagram in December 2023. The video begins with the tattoo artist etching the name ‘Amruta’ on the man’s lower lip. As the tattooing progresses, viewers are taken through the steps until the final reveal. The handle captioned the video simply, “Love.”
