Parle-G Swaps Iconic Girl With This Influencer's Face And The Reason Will Make You ROFL
It all started when Zervaan put up a quirky video on his handle. Shooting a question to all his followers, he asked how one should address the owner of Parle-G.

The internet is an interesting place. With the advent of social media, there have been many content creators who became viral in no time and ended up establishing themselves as influencers. There have also been instances when eminent brands engage in banter with the general public and make it a moment to remember. In a similar incident, Instagram influencer Zervaan J Bunshah managed to replace the iconic Parle-G girl on the biscuit packet’s cover in a social media post shared by the brand.

It all started when Zervaan put up a quirky video on his handle. Shooting a question to all his followers, he asked how one should address the owner of Parle-G. All this while, Zervaan shared his confusion with a comical expression. The catchy ‘Ey ji Oo ji’ song from Anil Kapoor’s 1989 film, Ram Lakhan, played in the background.

“If you meet the owner of Parle-G, do you call him Parle sir, Mr Parle or Parle G?” read the text that appeared on the video. The influencer wrote in the caption “Parle ji” with hashtags ‘parleji’ and ‘og.’ Zervaan, who is popular for his witty commentaries and Parsi caricatures, has over 1 lakh followers on the photo-sharing platform.

Parle G was quick to respond to Zervaan’s post and played along with the banter. “Bunshah ji, you can call us the OG,” the brand’s official handle noted in the comment section.

This wasn’t all. Parle G took a step further and on a lighter note, replaced their iconic girl’s image with that of the influencer’s. In the caption, it mentioned, “While you figure out what to call the owner of Parle-G, you can call us your favourite biscuit to enjoy with a cup of chai. What say @bunshah ji?”

Bunshah praised the sweet gesture and replied with a hearty laughter in the comment box. Reminiscing about having Parle G as a kid, the content creator expressed his nostalgic bond with that of the biscuit brand. He said, “BAHAHAHAHAHA SEASONS GREETINGS INDEED. Parle G will always be my nourishment growing up, after any excursion, party, gathering, craving, fancy cake mein bhi ingredient rehta hai! I toh ate the biscuits as a kid thinking I’d become smarter. Usme toh kalti diya tum logon ne.”
