Watch: 2 Women Beat Each Other With Slippers On Bengaluru Bus After Argument Over Window
The viral footage shows a disturbing scene in BMTC bus as two women are seen beating each other with slippers.

A shocking and chaotic incident was recently recorded on a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus in Bengaluru. In the viral footage, two female passengers are seen engaged in a heated confrontation, which later turns into a physical altercation. Both the passengers turned a routine bus journey from Majestic to Peenya into a dramatic scene near the Rajajinagar Police Station bus stop. As of now, the precise date of the incident remains unknown and the footage shows a disturbing scene as the women are seen beating each other with slippers. Despite efforts from fellow passengers to calm down the situation, the disagreement only got worse. The bizarre incident quickly went viral on social media.

Reports reveal that the altercation on the BMTC bus in Bengaluru began when one of the women opened a sliding window, but it caused inconvenience to the other. The clash escalated as both women took off their slippers and started hitting each other. Passengers on the bus intervened and urged the bus conductor to ask them to leave the public transport. Eventually, the conductor told the two women to exit, putting an end to the chaotic incident. Sharing the video, the X user wrote, “Women slipper each other on bus in Bengaluru. A verbal argument between two women passengers on a moving BMTC bus, over sliding the window glass, took a serious turn when they started hitting each other with slippers.”

Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “A human on a day to day goes through hundreds of issues and carries loads of other issues. Why add more.”

Another shared, “Women’s’ by default nature is to fight and abuse, if they could not find a man or boy to fight, they fight among themselves. Thank God, it’s not between Woman and Man.”

A user asserted, “Free bus results.”

As a result of Karnataka Government’s introduction of the Shakti scheme, which allows free travel for women on state run ordinary buses, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has witnessed a surge in the number of women passengers. Reports indicate that the BMTC has also increased the frequency of bus trips. While this initiative has successfully encouraged more women to use public transport, it has also brought their own set of challenges.
