The end of the clip shows that the snake has wrapped itself tightly around the bird that suffocated it and resulted in its death.

All animals and birds share some basic characteristics, i.e.- the ability to move, reproduce and protect their offspring. This can be seen in a wide variety of species that live in different regions. The ability to protect was also seen in a clip uploaded by a social media user on December 30, 2023. The video shows how a bird dared to fight a snake just to protect her children.

The video shows a serpent trying to enter the interior of a tree. The clip also depicts a bird flying around the tree and continuously trying to attack the snake. This gives the idea that there is a nest of that bird in the interior of the snake. Initially, her attempts fail but at last, she catches the snake with her beak and falls on the ground with it. It was followed by an altercation between the two which ended in the death of the bird. The end of the clip shows that the snake has wrapped itself tightly around the bird that suffocated him and resulted in its death.

Social media users criticised the people who filmed this incident in the comments section. Almost everyone wrote that the videographers should have saved the bird instead of shooting. A user also wrote that he understands that this is a natural cycle of food survival but still, the videographers could have done their bit. Other users commented that they were not able to watch such videos.

Another video that was uploaded on September 9, 2023, shows clips of birds fighting against snakes to protect their children. In the clips, users can see how the birds make use of their beaks to inflict injuries on snakes and many are also successful in doing so. One of the clips also shows how the serpent can reach close to the nest of a bird.

The video follows a snake trying to bite the birds but is thwarted by the arrival of the mother bird in the nest. The snake beats a hasty retreat from the nest and is unable to harm the baby birds.
