Kia India Names Gwanggu Lee as New MD and CEO, Check Details
The newly appointed Gwanggu Lee replaced Tae Jin Park, who left his position after giving 36 years to the Korean manufacturer.

The leading car maker in India Kia has appointed Gwanggu Lee as the new CEO and Managing director with immediate effect. The news has been confirmed by the company, where it has been informed that the newly appointed top official replaced Tae Jin Park, who left his position after giving 36 years to the Korean manufacturer.

Lee has been in leadership roles in both developed and emerging economies. He served in top countries including Canada, the US, Mexico, Italy, Kia Headquarters in Central and South America, and Kia Europe Headquarters in Germany. He also played and important role as President at Kia Mexico, contributing to the company’s substantial growth and establishment as a production and export hub.

Talking about his plan with Kia India, Lee said, “My vision is to unlock the next phase of growth through inspiring Kia brand experiences thereby creating more value and long-lasting impact for our customers, partners, and employees alike.

He also reacted to the company’s top hot-selling products Sonet and Seltos. He said with new updates and upcoming products on their way, Kia India is undoubtedly on the right path to sustainable business growth.

Meanwhile, the brand has started its business in the Indian market by introducing the mid-size segment car Seltos, which received an overwhelming response from the customers. Currently, it has five models in the lineup including Sonet and Carens in the Indian market.
