Mini, the luxury car maker, has finally begun accepting pre-bookings for the new-generation Cooper S and Countryman E SUV in India, ahead of its launch expected in a few weeks.
Interested customers can now make their bookings via the official website of Mini India atmini.in.
The new-gen MINI Cooper 3-Door and Countryman electric debuted globally by the company in September last year and are now available for pre-booking in India.

MINI Cooper S
The new-generation Mini Cooper is a3-door hatchin its fifth generation. It comes with a redesigned octagonal grille, new round LED headlamps with customizable light signatures. The 2024 Cooper S has redesigned wheels and flush door handles.
At the rear, the vehicle comes with triangular LED lamps with an adjustable OLED tech and a Union-jack motif.
Talking about the interiors, the Mini Cooper S comes with a huge round 9.4-inch display in the centre which comes with Mini Operating System 9, which also manages most controls in the car.
A head-up display is also paced ahead of the steering wheel. As per Hindustan Time Auto, Mini has retained some of the familiar elements including the toggle switches, gear selector, parking brake and the star-stop switch.
The Mini Cooper S is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo Petrol Engine tuned for 201 bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. The new version goes from 0-100kmph in just 6.6 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the older version.
Mini has also announced the electric Cooper SE which will arrive later.
MINI Countryman
The Mini Countryman will arrive in an electric version and with a refreshed design. As per AutoX, like the new Mini Cooper, the Mini Countryman features an octagonal grille, configurable LED daytime running lamps (offering up to 3 lighting signatures) updatedheadlights and taillights.
It is powered by an electric motor with 201bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. The Countryman E can go from 0-100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds.
Other key features include Level 2 ADAS, Mini Connected Tech, a fisheye lens in-car camera, Digital Key Plus and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with a massage function.
The Countryman E boasts a range of 462 km on a single charge.
Both models are expected to arrive in India later this year.
