Suzuki India has delivered 40 modified V-Strom SX 250 adventure motorcycles to Gurugram police.
The transfer is part of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer’s CSR drive to promote road and rider safety. Vikas Arora, Commissioner of Police in Gurugram, and Kenichi Umeda, MD of Suzuki Motorcycle India, launched the project.

According to Hindustan Times, Suzuki has delivered the customised V-Strom SX 250 ADVs with important upgrades. The bikes are finished in a bespoke white paint job with a modified windscreen. The front and fuel tank include ‘Police’ branding, as well as red and blue beacon lights. The police-spec V-Strom SX also has a siren installed on the motorcycle.
Suzuki V-Strom SX 250: Features
The V-Strom SX 250 is powered by a 249 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine tuned for around 25 bhp at 9,300 rpm and 22 Nm of peak torque at 7,300 rpm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has telescopic forks in the front and a 7-step preload adjustable mono-shock in the back.
Furthermore, disc brakes with dual-channel ABS provide braking performance at either end. The bike has dual-purpose tyres, a 19-inch front wheel, and a 17-inch rear wheel.
The V-Strom SX 250 sports a digital instrument console and USB charging capabilities. In addition, the bike’s kerb weight is 167 kg.
The standard model is offered in three colours: Pearl Blaze Orange, Champion Yellow Number Two, and Glass Sparkle Black.
The bike also has Bluetooth connectivity, which provides features such as missed call notifications, caller ID, turn-by-turn navigation, call, SMS, and WhatsApp message alerts, ETA updates, and speed limit alerts.
The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 is priced at Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
