New Delhi: Suzuki Motorcycle India said it plans to launch an updated version of its 110cc motorcycle Hayate EP with enhanced technology in the current financial year.
The motorcycle is now powered by Suzuki's cutting technology and uses super sleek piston, high-ignition spark plug and low friction cylinder and piston rings, Suzuki Motorcycle India said in a statement.
"This aids in improved combustion, high compression ratio, reduced friction and weight reduction. This allows the Hayate EP to give powerful pick-up with superb real road mileage," it added.
The company said the updated Hayate EP will be available in the market in the current financial year and price will be announced alongside.
"The all new Suzuki Hayate EP appeals to every modern Indian rider. Our engineers and designers have worked very hard to give the Hayate EP superior fuel efficiency without compromising on pick-up," said Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd.
The company is confident that the new Hayate EP will be very well received in the market, he added.
Suzuki Motorcycle is a subsidiary of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation. The company started its India operations in 2006.
