'Ageing in Reverse': MS Dhoni Ditches Vintage Long Hair With New Look - See Pics

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni loves to play with his hair. From long hair to clean shave, the cricket icon has done it all without breaking a sweat. Oh, and, now he is back with an all-new hairstyle. Of course, it is trending. Dhoni has said bye-bye to his long hair days. The World Cup-winning captain, however, has continued with the caramel highlights that he chose for the previous long-hair look.

Celebrity stylist Aalim Hakim shared some glimpses of MS Dhoni’s new look on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, “Our Young, Dynamic & Handsome Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It’s a pure joy to cut & style our. Thala’s hair and he is always courteous enough to let me click his pics.”

The post was an instant hit just like any other content featuring MS Dhoni. Fans undoubtedly loved the new look of “Thala” as they flooded the comments section with red heart emojis. One of them reckons Dhoni is planning to make a comeback as “a U-19 cricketer.”

“Man is ageing in reverse. Thala for a reason,” admitted a fan.

A person feels Dhoni is “ageing like a fine wine.” Another fan branded the former CSK captain as a “handsome hunk.” “The internet crashed with this picture. A young man,” commented a user.

Earlier in December, MS Dhoni spoke about the difficulty of maintaining long hair. The 42-year-old revealed that he was retaining the look only for his fans, who wanted to see him back in his vintage style.

“Maintaining this hairstyle is very difficult. Earlier, I used to get ready in 20 minutes, but now it takes 1 hour and 10 minutes. I am doing it because fans like it, but someday I wake up and decide it’s enough, I’ll cut it down,” Dhoni said at a public event.

MS Dhoni passed the captaincy baton of CSK to Ruturaj Gaikwad ahead of the 2024 IPL. The five-time champions began the campaign on a positive note but failed to continue the momentum. CSK managed seven wins in the league stage and couldn’t qualify for the playoffs. After the tournament was over, many fans felt Dhoni would draw curtains on his IPL career but the legendary cricketer has not yet taken his final call.
