'Sheer Confidence and Evolution': Hardik Pandya Delivers Massive Praise to Suryakumar Yadav's Century Knock vs SRH
MI's skipper Hardik Pandya was all praise for Suryakumar Yadav who scored a century to help Mumbai Indians get their revenge on Sunrisers Hyderabad.

It was a cracking century by Suryakumar Yadav to help Mumbai Indians get back to winning ways by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium by a margin of 7 wickets and 16 balls to spare.

The number four batter came in and stabilised MI’s chase after the top-order was dismissed for cheap. But Surya’s century along with support from Tilak Varma meant that the side was able to get the win.

Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, the MI skipper delivered massive praise for the number-one-ranked T20I batter for his knock. He reckons that his abilities with the bat puts the bowlers under massive pressure which throws them off their game.

“It’s unbelievable, the best part of SKY is that he puts the bowlers under pressure. It’s sheer confidence, his game has changed, is one of the best batters. He can change a game differently, lucky to have him (SKY) on our side,” said Hardik Pandya.

Reacting to the loss, SRH skipper, Pat Cummins reckons that the side was a couple of runs short but the impact substitute allowed them to get to a decent score but that dented their efforts in the second half where they were short on a bowler.

He said, “Probably a couple short, at the Wankhede you want as many as you can get. You always feel like you’re in, the wicket had a little bit in it so we were definitely in the game. I think Sanvir helped us get to that 170 instead of 150, ideally, we’d have a bowler”.

The Sunrisers will now play their remaining games of the league stages at their home ground in Hyderabad and winning all three of them will certainly allow them to make it to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians will look to continue their positive momentum and finish off their season on a high.
