Team India clinched triumph in dominant fashion and assistant coach ten Doeschate touched upon the two-pronged approach the sid take in the sense that they limit the number of maximums conceded, while also attempting to maximize their own boundary scoring rate.

Team India take on Bangladesh in the third and final T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on the 13th of October with the series already in te bag.

India holds a 2-0 advantage over the visitors heading into the third game at Hyderabad with solid performances in the first two games to wrap up the series with a game to spare.

Team India clinched triumph in dominant fashion and assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate touched upon the two-pronged approach the sid take in the sense that they limit the number of maximums conceded, while also attempting to maximize their own boundary scoring rate.

“The way we bowl has made it difficult for Bangladesh to hit sixers. The guys have all played enough IPL and we have used that opportunity to learn by hitting sixers and learned how to limit,” the Dutchman said.

The 44-year-old also went on to praise the immense talent in the unit while elucidating on the finishing abilities of the Indian contingent.

Nitish Kumar played a brilliant innings scoring 74 runs as he led India to a total of 221 runs in the second game, while Rinku Singh added a half-century and Hardik Pandya chipped in with 32 runs.

“I’d say out of out of that whole bunch, you, you probably look at Nitish Kumar ready as more of a touch player,” he said.

“We, we’ve got such strong finishes in Hardik, Rinku and Riyan as well down the order,” he continued.

“So there’s so much potential in this team,” he said.

The Dutchman also emphasised on the quality to back players and provided them with the freedom to perform upto their potential.

“And again, going back to the previous question, it’s just giving them the freedom to know that they can go out there and do it without backing,” the assistant coach added.

“And they’re certainly good enough to do it. It’s just the mindset of looking to score limited every single ball in 120 balls,” he concluded.
