Gautam Gambhir was a crucial part of Kolkata Knight Riders’ phenomenal IPL 2024 campaign. Having finished in first place the Shah Rukh Khan-co-owned franchise raced their way to the Qualifier 1 of the tournament. They next beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad final to book a spot in the final, before beating the Pat Cummins-led side again in the ultimate game. In a fairly one-sided affair, Kolkata secured an eight-wicket victory while earning a third IPL crown.
